General Information




The African Court Library is a specialized international judicial library established to support the judicial and administrative activities of the members and staff of the Court. In fulfilling the mandate of the Court, the library develops its collection in human rights, legislation of AU Member States, relevant case law, international law, comparative law, constitutional law, public law, and the history of African nations. The library’s collection is available in the six official African Union languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, and Kiswahili.

Weekends, Tanzanian Public Holidays & African Union Holidays:
Closed
The Library Online Catalogue is available on the website
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Users can search the electronic database of books and access links to
electronic journals (e-journals) and electronic books (e-books).
