Republic of Kenya, at its seat in Arusha, Tanzania.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Applicant avers that the Respondent State has violated the rights and freedoms of the Ogiek community through, among others, forced evictions of the Ogiek from the Mau Forest, their ancestral home, where they have lived from time immemorial and which was crucial for their very survival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Republic of Kenya has denied the Applicant\u2019s allegations and argues that the Court lacks jurisdiction in the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Court will also render Advisory Opinions in respect of Socio Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) and Recontre Africain Pour la Defense des Droits de l\u2019homme (RADDHO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The events will take place at the Kibo Hall at the AfCHPR premises at the Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) building, Burka area, along Dodoma Road, at 9:00 am (East African time) and members of the public are invited.<br>The events will be live-streamed on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/africancourt\/channels\/live\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/africancourt\/channels\/live<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTES FOR EDITORS:<\/strong><br>1.
