These Rules replace the 2010 Rules of Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Rules of Court seek to enhance the effectiveness of the Court by, among other things, facilitating access to the Court, improving the management of cases as well as ensuring better implementation of the decisions of the Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The soft copy of the Rules has been uploaded on the website of the Court in French and English (the Arabic and Portuguese versions will be uploaded in due course).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.african-court.org\/afchpr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Rules-Final-Revised-adopted-Rules-eng-April-2021.pdf\">New Rules of the African Court (25 September 2020)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTES FOR EDITORS<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. The Court is composed of eleven Judges, nationals of Member States of the African Union elected in their individual capacity.<br>2.
