{"id":2782,"date":"2017-11-02T14:27:00","date_gmt":"2017-11-02T11:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.african-court.org\/wpafc\/abidjan-to-host-the-third-african-judicial-dialogue\/"},"modified":"2025-05-29T09:37:18","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T06:37:18","slug":"abidjan-to-host-the-third-african-judicial-dialogue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.african-court.org\/afchpr\/abidjan-to-host-the-third-african-judicial-dialogue\/?lang=fr","title":{"rendered":"ABIDJAN TO HOST THE THIRD AFRICAN JUDICIAL DIALOGUE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Arusha, 2 November, 2017: The Third African Judicial Dialogue, organised by the African Court on Human and Peoples\u2019 Rights (AfCHPR),\u00a0under the auspices of the African Union (AU), in collaboration with the World Bank, the German Cooperation (GiZ) and the European Union (EU), will be held from 8 to 10 November, 2017 in Abidjan, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dialogue will be attended by about 150 delegates from AU Member States, including Chief Justices, Presidents of Supreme and Constitutional Courts from the 55 AU Member States, as well as regional and international judicial bodies and other relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s theme of the biennial meeting is: \u2018\u2019Improving Judicial Efficiency in Africa\u2019\u2019&nbsp; and is a follow up to the first edition held in November 2013 in Arusha, Tanzania, and second in November 2015, also in Arusha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018\u2019The overall objective of the Dialogue is to explore ways of enhancing judicial efficiency in Africa,\u2019\u2019 said the President of the AfCHPR Hon.
