{"id":2687,"date":"2020-05-05T18:08:41","date_gmt":"2020-05-05T15:08:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.african-court.org\/wpafc\/african-court-judges-hold-virtual-meeting\/"},"modified":"2020-05-20T12:01:16","modified_gmt":"2020-05-20T09:01:16","slug":"les-juges-de-la-cour-africaine-organisent-une-reunion-virtuelle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.african-court.org\/afchpr\/les-juges-de-la-cour-africaine-organisent-une-reunion-virtuelle\/?lang=fr","title":{"rendered":"LES JUGES DE LA COUR AFRICAINE ORGANISENT UNE R\u00c9UNION VIRTUELLE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em><strong><em>Arusha, 4 mai 2020<\/em>\u00a0: Les Juges de la Cour africaine des droits de l&#8217;homme et des peuples \u00a0ont tenu une r\u00e9union virtuelle ce jour, pour discuter de l&#8217;impact de la pand\u00e9mie en cours de la COVID-19 sur le travail de la Cour ainsi que des mesures \u00e0 mettre en place pour assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du personnel et la continuit\u00e9 des activit\u00e9s de la Cour.<\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La r\u00e9union, \u00e0 laquelle tous les onze juges ont pris part, a d\u00e9but\u00e9 par l\u2019observation d\u2019une minute de silence en les m\u00e9moires de l\u2019Hon. Juge Augustino Ramadhani, ancien pr\u00e9sident de la Cour, d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 le 28 avril \u00e0 Dar es-Salaam et de l&#8217;Hon. Dr Augustine Mahiga, Ministre des Affaires constitutionnelles et juridiques de la R\u00e9publique-Unie de Tanzanie, d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 le 1er mai 2020 \u00e0 Dodoma, la capitale du pays. La Cour a not\u00e9 avec satisfaction que le Pr\u00e9sident, l&#8217;Hon. Juge Sylvain Or\u00e9, a \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9 et a repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 la Cour aux obs\u00e8ques de feu le Juge Ramadhani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un certain nombre de questions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9es au cours de la r\u00e9union, notamment les mesures prises pour s\u2019assurer que la Cour continue de s&#8217;acquitter de son mandat tout en accordant une importance primordiale \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des Juges, du personnel du Greffe et des autres usagers de la Cour ; l&#8217;organisation de la 57e session ordinaire de la Cour ; et le retrait par la R\u00e9publique du B\u00e9nin et la R\u00e9publique de C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire de leurs d\u00e9clarations au titre de l&#8217;article 34(6) du Protocole, par laquelle elles reconnaissaient la comp\u00e9tence de la Cour pour recevoir des requ\u00eates introduites directement par des individus et des ONG dot\u00e9es du statut d&#8217;observateur aupr\u00e8s de la Commission africaine des droits de l&#8217;homme et des peuples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">S\u2019agissant des conditions de travail du personnel du Greffe, la Cour a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 le Groupe de travail COVID-19 du Greffe, dirig\u00e9 par le Greffier de la Cour, pour les mesures mises en place en vue d\u2019assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du personnel et la continuit\u00e9 des activit\u00e9s, et a exhort\u00e9 le Greffier \u00e0 rester vigilant et \u00e0 ne pas h\u00e9siter \u00e0 prendre d&#8217;autres mesures, si n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En ce qui concerne l&#8217;organisation de sa 57e session ordinaire, la Cour a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de tenir la session en ligne du 1er au 26 juin 2020 et a donn\u00e9 pour instruction au Greffier de prendre toutes les mesures utiles pour assurer sa bonne organisation et son bon d\u00e9roulement. La Cour a examin\u00e9 le projet d&#8217;ordre du jour de la session et a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de l&#8217;adopter formellement au d\u00e9but de la session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Concernant la d\u00e9cision du B\u00e9nin et de la C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire de retirer leurs d\u00e9clarations au titre de l&#8217;article 34(6) du Protocole, la Cour a exprim\u00e9 sa pr\u00e9occupation et son profond regret.
