Justice Blaise Tchikaya, was received in audience by Senegal\u2019s Minister of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad, Hon. Cheikh Niang, and the Minister of Justice, H.E. Moussa Sarr, on 8 July 2026 during his official visit to Senegal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Held as part of the Court\u2019s 20th anniversary commemoration (2006\u20132026), the meeting focused on Senegal\u2019s role in the African judicial system, the African Court\u2019s mandate, and the importance of strengthening access to justice across the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges related to the implementation of the Court\u2019s judgments, as well as the need to enhance citizens\u2019 access to justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussions reflected Senegal\u2019s continued commitment to a strong African system of justice that serves the peoples of the continent and contributes to the realization of the African Union\u2019s Agenda 2063.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The visit forms part of the African Court\u2019s ongoing engagement with Member States to promote the effective protection of human and peoples\u2019 rights, strengthen the implementation of its decisions, and reinforce the rule of law and judicial cooperation across Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure
