{"id":12424,"date":"2022-06-03T09:19:32","date_gmt":"2022-06-03T06:19:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.african-court.org\/afchpr\/?p=12424"},"modified":"2022-09-18T14:24:59","modified_gmt":"2022-09-18T11:24:59","slug":"la-tanzanie-debutera-les-travaux-de-construction-des-locaux-abritant-le-siege-de-la-cour-africaine%ef%bf%bc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.african-court.org\/afchpr\/la-tanzanie-debutera-les-travaux-de-construction-des-locaux-abritant-le-siege-de-la-cour-africaine%ef%bf%bc\/?lang=fr","title":{"rendered":"LA TANZANIE D\u00c9BUTERA LES TRAVAUX DE CONSTRUCTION DES LOCAUX ABRITANT LE SI\u00c8GE DE LA COUR AFRICAINE\ufffc"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Arusha, 03 juin 2022&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><em>: <\/em>L\u2019honorable Juge Imani Daud Aboud, Pr\u00e9sidente de la Cour africaine des droits de l\u2019homme et des peuples, a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 le gouvernement tanzanien pour l\u2019adoption d\u2019un budget de 4&nbsp;000&nbsp;000&nbsp;000&nbsp;Tshs (environ 1,7 million de dollars am\u00e9ricains) en vue du d\u00e9marrage des travaux de construction des locaux permanents de la Cour \u00e0 Arusha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une initiative importante et courageuse qui vise \u00e0 permettre \u00e0 la Cour de disposer de locaux permanents&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l\u2019honorable Juge Aboud apr\u00e8s l\u2019approbation par le Parlement tanzanien, si\u00e9geant dans la capitale Dodoma, du budget provisoire du minist\u00e8re des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res et de la Coop\u00e9ration est-africaine ce mardi 31 mai 2022. Le budget pr\u00e9voit, notamment les co\u00fbts de construction des locaux qui abriteront le si\u00e8ge de la Cour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Cour, dont le si\u00e8ge permanent est fix\u00e9 \u00e0 Arusha, fonctionne actuellement depuis ses bureaux temporaires log\u00e9s dans les b\u00e2timents de l\u2019agence en charge des parcs nationaux de Tanzanie (TANAPA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Cette initiative est historique et nous nous r\u00e9jouissons de sa construction rapide&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la Pr\u00e9sidente de la Cour, ajoutant qu\u2019un tel geste t\u00e9moigne une fois de plus de l\u2019engagement de la Tanzanie en faveur de la cause des droits de l\u2019homme et, plus g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, de son soutien inconditionnel aux objectifs du panafricanisme.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le gouvernement tanzanien a mis \u00e0 la disposition de la Cour environ 25 hectares dans la zone de Laki Laki, \u00e0 la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie de la ville d\u2019Arusha, pour la construction du si\u00e8ge permanent de la Cour. Le site est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du m\u00e9canisme des Nations Unies pour les tribunaux internationaux (ex TPIR et TPIY).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTES \u00c0 L\u2019INTENTION DES R\u00c9DACTEURS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>La Cour africaine des droits de l\u2019homme et des peuples est une cour continentale cr\u00e9\u00e9e par les pays africains pour assurer la protection des droits de l\u2019homme et des peuples en Afrique. Elle compl\u00e8te et renforce les fonctions de la Commission africaine des droits de l\u2019homme et des peuples.<br>La Cour africaine des droits de l\u2019homme et des peuples a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en vertu de l\u2019article premier du Protocole relatif \u00e0 la Charte africaine des droits de l\u2019homme et des peuples portant cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une Cour africaine des droits de l\u2019homme et des peuples (le Protocole), adopt\u00e9 \u00e0 Ouagadougou, au Burkina Faso, par les \u00c9tats membres de l\u2019Organisation de l\u2019Unit\u00e9 Africaine, en juin 1998. Le protocole est entr\u00e9 en vigueur le 25 janvier 2004. La Cour a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 ses activit\u00e9s en juillet 2006, \u00e0 Addis-Ab\u00e9ba.
