Arusha, 28 Mars 2022<\/em><\/strong>: La R\u00e9publique de Madagascar a adh\u00e9r\u00e9 au Protocole \u00e0 la Charte africaine des droits de l\u2019homme et des peuples portant cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une Cour africaine des droits de l\u2019homme et des peuples, portant ainsi \u00e0 trente-trois (33) le nombre d\u2019\u00c9tats parties au Protocole.<\/p>\n\n

\u00ab Il s\u2019agit l\u00e0 d\u2019un progr\u00e8s remarquable et nous exhortons Madagascar \u00e0 faire \u00e9galement la D\u00e9claration sp\u00e9ciale pr\u00e9vue \u00e0 l\u2019article 34(6) afin de permettre aux individus et aux ONG d\u2019acc\u00e9der directement \u00e0 la Cour \u00bb, a fait remarquer l\u2019Honorable Juge Imani Daud Aboud, Pr\u00e9sidente de la Cour africaine.<\/p>\n\n

Elle a \u00e9galement rappel\u00e9 aux autres \u00c9tats qui n\u2019ont pas ratifi\u00e9 le Protocole et d\u00e9pos\u00e9 la D\u00e9claration sp\u00e9ciale de le faire.<\/p>\n\n

Les \u00c9tats qui ont d\u00e9pos\u00e9 la D\u00e9claration sont, \u00e0 ce jour, au nombre de huit. Il s\u2019agit du Burkina Faso, de la Gambie, du Ghana, de la Guin\u00e9e Bissau, du Malawi, du Mali, du Niger et de la Tunisie.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

1. La Cour se compose de 11 juges, ressortissants d\u2019\u00c9tats membres de l\u2019Union africaine, \u00e9lus \u00e0 titre individuel.<\/p>\n\n

2. La Cour se r\u00e9unit quatre fois par an en session ordinaire et peut tenir une session extraordinaire.<\/p>\n\n
