The Court’s first session Outside Tanzania
The African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (the Court), is, with the assistance and cooperation of the Government of the Republic of Ghana, holding its 23rd Ordinary Session, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel,in Accra, Ghana, from 5 - 16 December 2011. This will be the first time that the Court has held a session outside its seat, since its relocation to Arusha, Tanzania in August 2007.
In addition, the Court will, as part of the activities of the 23rdOrdinary Session, and with the collaboration of the Government of the Republic of Ghana and the Ghana Bar Association, hold a sensitization seminar on the 12th of December 2011. Click here for the Press Release.
